Okay, guys, this is Anthony. I'm telling you up front, since my last account wasn't very successful at conveying who I was. This should prevent me from getting banned for impersonation...
For starters, I want to let you guys know that I was, indeed, ProbablyMount. I created the account as a joke to tack a reply to one of the topics where I got banned, where I was going to say something along the lines of, "Yeah, that Anthony kid never learns" or whatever. Unfortunately, a certain someone didn't believe I was Mount and marked me for impersonation... I wanted to let you all know that I was in fact Monty. There were several clues that I put:
- I mentioned APUSH in Brandon's topic.
- I told Nala to drop something that happened in the past (really, how could an impostor know something about that?)
- The last part of my signature practically gave away who I was...
I was very shocked to find that you guys didn't manage to pick up on it because you are very good at sniffing me out when I'm not trying to be obvious. When I was obvious, you guys didn't get it.
Now, to move on. I wanted to personally apologize to Nala for derailing her topic. I truly was concerned about your dad, and I'm happy to hear that the surgery was a success. My intentions were not to derail your topic; it just happened to take that direction. Also, I apologize for any foul language I used. I felt like I was being given the third-degree, but it didn't give me the right to use the words I did... So, in retrospect, I apologize.
As for the rest of you guys, I would still like to stay and be a part of this board, but I just don't know. I mean, it doesn't seem like you guys want me around (I'm just going based on reactions so don't quote me on this one). Well, that's all I really wanted to say. I'm not going to curse you out or rub it in that I was right... I just want everything to stay in the past and to move forward. What do you guys say?

Personally, the amount of hot-headed and poorly thought-out drama that you bring here annoys and disappoints me, man. I've known you for what... 3 years or so now? And I keep holding out hope that maybe you'll grow up. Maybe you'll change. And I'm always wrong. Now, you know I believe in you, kid. Just be SMART. Please just tone it down and think before you speak - especially when you tell others about our little haven here. If you can do that, you know you're welcome here. You can't please everyone, but the majority of people are good and will support you.

My account is named after a song that plays during a certain plot point in Final Fantasy IX. I wanted to do "TheFallofNeoKuja"; however, that's too many characters... :(
And, no, this really is Anthony. Travis and Brandon have nothing to do with those accounts (aside from hearing my mouth about the suspension on Facebook). I figured I would stop being blatantly obvious and go back to Final Fantasy names (which are more fun, anyway...).
First, impersonation was convenient.
Second, that topic wasn't about you. But you did your best to make it so. Had you stuck with supporting nala (and Mark) nothing would have come of it. But no, you had to take it as a personal slight that someone else had something going on in their life that might be more important than your indecision.
You heard me. You were the one thàt brought up your orientation. No one else mentioned it at all. And to my recollection, no one here had a problem with it the first time you thrust it upon us. Lack of caring does not equal lack of understanding. The very fact that you felt the need to bring it up again in another thread (and one that most of us would view out of compassion) just brings your *mememememememe* attitude back to the forefront and proves that you need others to validate your own choices in your own life. Try being a bit more confident in your own decisions.
You haven't changed, monty. You still strive to be the absolute center of attention no matter what is going on around you.

Also: huh? Is that what the blowup in Nala's topic was about? Wow, okay, I wasn't expecting this topic to get out of hand... Anyway, here is my two-cents on everything that has been said.
Nala: I wasn't even thinking about Spock's name being Mark. I completely forgot about that. In the context of the topic, it looked like he was giving his condolences and then answering your question of "Who are you?" It was all a matter of misinterpretation on my part.
Gary:
First of all, you are over-exaggerating the situation... You're making it sound like I just went into a serious topic and spouted, "Look at me, everyone, I'm bisexual!! Did you know that?!" The way you are telling the story is an over-exaggeration and a downright lie. I did not mention my sexuality until someone else posted something completely unrelated to the topic. If you look at Jace's post, he puts, "It's not past immaturity but present immaturity." This is when I brought up the sexuality issue. I stated to him that you guys were the cause of my anger and then proceeded to use that issue as an example.
It's so funny... You are so quick to point the finger at me and pass all the blame; however, you fail to acknowledge your guys' portion of the blame. The sexuality issue was in a response to Jace's, unrelated to the topic, post... It's getting really tiresome how you tell me to grow up, yet anybody can just say whatever the hell they want to me and get away with it. I find it both interesting and exasperating how you guys tend to ignore what the other party says.
In summation, I'm sick and tired of you guys making it sound like I come into topics and explode without just reason. It takes at least two parties for a conflict to happen, which is something you guys are either failing to grasp how you are involved in the conflict or choosing to ignore entirely. Either way, I am not entirely at fault for the drama/conflict/whatever you call it that goes on here. Really, guys, take a look in the mirror. You'll see a reflection of your own immature responses that feed the conflict. Again, stop entirely blaming me for everything that goes wrong. It's not just me.
Also, I'm not some whiny emo who tries to draw attention to himself. If you had bothered to read the topic, I posted a simple, "Will do" in response to praying for Nala and Spock's father. It was only after I got the third-degree that the topic spiraled out of control. Once again, the topic was made about me because you guys made it about me.

Best way to put it. I highly recommend you go back and read every post about/directed towards you from the past month. Actually, you should sit down with a buddy, or someone with an outsider's perspective to help interpret everyone's posts in an unbiased way. Fox has been trying to shed some light on your situation and give you some hard truths. You're getting too hung up on his tone to read into what could probably be some useful comments.

*PMS unperturbed.
*Monty arrives, life goes on for a couple days. At this stage he's tolerable, almost cordial.
*User1 says something relevant to their life at the time being.
*Monty construes this as an opportunity to bring up his past endeavors and how much he's changed, disregarding the topic at hand.
*User2 tells him we don't care.
*Monty accuses board of acrimonious behavior.
*User3 laughs.
*Monty makes an apologetic topic but manages to simultaneously patronize the board as a whole.
*User4 tries to reason and proposes he reflect on his own behavior.
*Monty flips, threatens to leave. He makes sure to post it everywhere anyone from PMS can see, including the Facebook page.
*User5 also tries to reason.

- Dealing with my sexuality
- Worrying about my grandmother and father's health (grandmother has cancer that may return and may not be treatable the final time and dad had a pacemaker put in because his heart was skipping beats)
- I'm behind in school work and have a deadline to finish certain things.
- I have an APUSH exam on Friday that I'm only just studying for today and tomorrow...
- My choir director just had a baby that is two months early, so she has to stay at the hospital and get well.
- Hoping the girl I like will like me back and worrying that if she finds out I'm bi she might not like me (she's a strong catholic, so it's an abomination for two guys to get together)
These are my main concerns right now; however, there is one word that can sum this all up: Life. I'm having a hard time dealing with life right now. I'm just hoping for the best in all these situations...

I think Fox has hit the nail on the head fairly well and there isn't much more to add to it. That said, Mont still doesn't get it because reasoning seems to come off as an insult regardless of how much you tell him he's reading it incorrectly and you're not insulting him in anyway.
Also, Mont, if you think we're such big, bad people (which I think is clearly not the case since quite a few people have been patiently explaining and reexplaining the situation to you) why don't you just leave?

Yes, being a teenager is hard. You want to boink everything and your hormones/emotions are out of control. Even though you think Twenty-Somethings Just Don't Understand, we do, we went through the same thing. We're not out to get you. What I think is happening here is that we're trying to give you advice that you just can't understand yet because you're not old enough. There's nothing wrong with that. Give it time, there's a big difference between 16 and 20. Life is dramatic when you're in high school, probably especially if you're not used to being around a lot of people at a time. It will be dramatic in different ways when you get older, but you'll have a higher capacity to deal with it once you gain some experience in the world.
