Hullo Again

It's that special time of day to every couple of years when DarthMarth returns! I'm most pleased how I've become one of those mythical, wandering PMSians you hear about on the news or on milk cartons. I don't remember how long it's been since I reintroduced myself, so here's an update.

-I'm capping off my sophomore year studying computer science at the University of Minnesota. It's a pretty great major and I'm trying to decide what to do with it after getting my degree.
-I started identifying as asexual almost a year ago, which had greatly helped me make sense of my life.
-My interests lately include headphones, fractals and fractal flames (http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee4/darththemarth/Fractals/), biking, and theater tech.
-I continue to write CSBE stories on and off, though my creative insanity isn't what it was in my early teenage years.
-Sadly, I'm not much of a gamer these days, so I haven't been on GameFAQs much.
-I'm going on an 8-week mission trip to Milwaukee this summer that promises to be a transformative experience.

So, what is going up in PMS land? Who do all these alt accounts belong to?

I'm going to be at the University of Minnesota this summer, as part of the Center for Cognitive Science's Research Experience for Undergraduates. Will you be in Minneapolis any time from June 7 to August 25? It might be fun to meet.

At the risk of sounding stupid: that's cool. Do you have a presence on the AVEN forums?

The thing about PMSians who post only occasionally is that I never know whether they're lurking or wholly absent. You ought to post in the roll-call topic, though.

I'm more of the lurking variety; I just don't post as often as I should.

I'm on the mission trip most of summer, but I'll at least be in the Twin cities at the beginning and end of those times. I live roughly half an hour south of Minneapolis.

And yep, I found AVEN pretty quickly. My user name is the same as it is here. I don't post there too much either...but I did start an audiophile thread.
