Oh my God, that was one more thing that was wigging me out.
As Kodi knows, I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 7. As now everyone knows, this has been an unmitigated disaster, in large part because of some mechanism I don't fully understand involving a virtual drive that completely disables my DVD drive if I uninstall iTunes (because it just works, until you cross it).
Anyway, the point is I took a break from cursing the heavens and reading tech support forums to check on PMS only to discover that ChromeFAQs had mysteriously stopped working and every topic had that "never been viewed" coloring in the URL. At that point I got really wigged out because I could fathom how Apple could possibly cause this to come about in vengeance for dating to remove their bloatware.
