As Pooty surmised, yes, I'm graduating college this year, too. Which means that this is the only group of people that I could say I've celebrated finishing 8th grade, high school, and college with (shortly).
As of right now I have a job lined up for the summer that will last until the beginning of August. I have plans to visit family in California in mid-August... and that's it. I haven't found a job for past that yet. I'm applying at different places but have yet to get that gratifying thumbs up. I've considered grad school but want to work first because I feel like I'm burnt out on school.
I frantically feel like I'm running out of time. I spent the entirety of this past week preparing for and helping with performances of a show on campus with a group I'm fairly tight with. Only a small handful of them are seniors so it's hard for them to relate to what I'm going through at the moment.
It's really difficult trying to deal with all of this uncertainty at the moment, and I'm certainly trying my best to manage it by covering all of my bases, but I'm still having a difficult time dealing. Any advice, PMSians? I'm looking for anything right now, really.

I can imagine how nerveracking that must be. So that we can give you better advice, tell us: what's your major, and what's your summer job? What were your original large-scale career goals, assuming you had any?

I'm with both of you on this one. I was home this past weekend for Mother's Day (Halo Reach beta at friend's house), and spent most of my non FPS time getting the "You're screwed" talking to from my aunts and uncles who have all recently retired. I was talking to a friend who is ten times more qualified than me in every practical way, and he's telling me how hard it is for him to find a job. Meanwhile, I gradually stop looking down my nose at people I know who have been stock boys for most of their twenties.
Anyway
My advice: Plastics.
