Far too slow and choppy. The features are nice, but the absolute sluggishness is pathetic on 3G.

Yeah, I'd recommend 3G owners not upgrade, at least not yet. And that's the same bars you've always been getting, but in previous versions the OS would artificially inflate how much signal strength you appeared to be getting.
