The upside is that I now have a full time job and I get to stop at the most delicious barbecue restaurant I've ever experienced in my entire life.
Umm... yeah!

Country Boys BBQ in Cashmere, WA. I stopped there with some coworkers a couple months back when we had a presentation to give at a different school. For the reason I don't go there very often, try Google Maps'ing 'Mukilteo, WA' to 'Cashmere, WA.'

Yeah dude. Plus, I find long drives to be kinda fun.

I gave a presentation about maximizing your time in college to 70 high school students + parents, got to stop at my favorite BBQ place, and work put me up in a (relatively) nice hotel for the night. And then I got to drive home. The drive back, as always, felt like it was shorter than the drive there, but it definitely took 5 hours each way. The drive from the midway point (approximately the BBQ place) to the school was really beautiful; most of it was alongside a river and there was a lot of nice scenery to look at.
The ride back was mostly uneventful, though I started to run out of music and other things to listen to... just in time to get back into range for local radio stations, which worked until I got home.
