You missed out, bud.
There is officially an "unofficial" GameFAQS app for iPhone.
I haven't downloaded it ($1.99, my ass), but it does exist.
Now if only they'd work on an official one so I can check GameFAQS easily on the go!

Haven't seen it, but I'm 99% sure I could do something better. I've been working on an app for the last three months or so, hoping to ship in January, and then I have an iPad app lined up for after that. Plus I have one to write for a client over the break. Could be a fun summer project, though! :D

Oh, I have not tried it but supposedly it doesn't even let you post on the message boards currently.

Now, wait a minute, why in this rarefied land of the iPhone do we need a separate application even for a website well suited to the WWW, like GameFAQs? Why not just use the iPhone's web browser? (It does have a web browser, right?) If the site looks unusably bad, you could probably fix it with CSS alone.
[Edit: Corrected a typo.]

If f_n is continuous on [a, b] for all n, (f_n(x)) is nonincreasing for each x, and (f_n) goes pointwise to a continuous f, then (f_n) goes to f uniformly.
Yes, I could theoretically use Safari for my on-the-go needs, but that does include a loading time.
An app would likely just load it entirely (or appear to at least) to the point where browsing would be extremely easy for the user.
It could also allow for membership sign-in and message board posting.
Aman - I would totally use a GameFAQS app that you developed.
Also, what else have you made? Perhaps you could send me a list and I'd check them out?

Ooohh. I just thought of something. Making bold and italic tags are a pain on the iPhone. Implementing something to do this with the press of a button could be very cool.

I don't think you'd want to use any of the software I've written for clients...unless you like pretending to manage employees. And I think the company I worked for last year sold the apps I wrote for them once they left the iPhone app business.
You can take a peek at the app I'm working on now, a Twitter client. (Don't make fun of my messy graphics, I'm getting a designer to clean that stuff up.)

Also, Kodi, GameFAQs works fine on an iPhone, which, incidentally, does include a web browser, but it would be great to have an app specifically focused on streamlining the GameFAQs experience for mobile. Pooty already has thrown out some great ideas I'd include if I were to write such an app. Kind of a limited market, though.
