For without you, I would never have known about GameFAQS.
7th grade. How truly long it's been.

Mark brought me here to play PMRPG wayyyyy back in the day. I stayed for the cookies.
Hah I get it. Internet. Cookies. I eat stuff like that up.
I ended up after following a link from the now defunct segasages.com which was a code repository that was eventually bought by ign and became their gaming coverage division or something.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

For me it was my friend Alex a.k.a Mecheye. I think he posted on this board...maybe. If not then he posted on the Mario Board Social, which is practically dead now. That board was awesome.

I visited gamefaqs a long time before I joined, I probably happened upon it looking for the names that you can use in RollerCoaster Tycoon to change guest behavior. I first came to PMS shortly after making an account.

I think it might have been like this, only with something called cheatsages? Or something? It's a little eerie and totally fitting that's there's an option for "I can't remember not knowing about GameFAQ's".

I first heard of GameFAQs in a walkthrough I found on… [whispering] CheatCC. It was at least a year before I signed up for the message boards and arrived at PMS.
And how's this for a blast from the past?

I think I also found it through segasages.com or something like that. Definitely by noticing that FAQs elsewhere usually just linked back to here, so why not skip the middle man.

Hm....wasn't there a website called gamesages.com?
Edit: Oh wait, that's the IGN website.
