How long was your summer vacation?

In high school, not college. I was always perturbed when people (like politicians) said summer vacation was 3 months, which was too long. I always thought, "Are they dumb? Summer vacation is 2 months."

Then I was watching Phineas and Ferb and the theme song starts "There's 104 days of summer vacation..." and I'm like, wait, no, there's 74 days of summer vacation.

Is that just NYC? Do the rest of you get 104 days, or something close to that? We got 74 (June 26 to Sept 8).

We got out first/second week of June and came back first/second week of September, so yeah, 3 months.

In high school it was definitely the second or third week of June to the first week of September. So, just short of three months, I guess? I remember back in high school thinking it was interesting what the different timings of our summer breaks were.

...Wow. We can use that as a point of reference, too. "Back when we were all in high school."

But, my senior year, we were done 2nd week of May. It was pretty sweet.
