Not too pricey, not too fancy, just a consistent source of mushroom soup that doesn't come from a can (I have had no good experience with canned mushroom soup).

Lucked out and found some today. The New England Soup Factory changes its menu every day, but on the rare occasion when it has mushroom, it's damned good.

Yeah, no complaints about the soup's consistency but I do wish I could get it on a more regular basis.

I made a mushroom soup chicken stew yesterday for some friends. I used canned mushroom soup. I imagine you'd be disappointed.
