Screwed up Post-A-Day May! I didn't post yesterday :(

My day was fairly busy. The kids were very needy yesterday and it was driving me and Jess crazy, so we decided around 3:30 to go find a McDonald's with a playplace. Ben's first time in one ever. For the first 20 minutes or so he just looked into the entrance and told me it looked scary. Finally another boy came and went in and was nice enough to guide Ben up to the top. Ben had fun after that. It was pretty cool :)

There was also this weird couple loitering. It was like when you see a goth girl who's going heavy on the PDA in public. It was that, but then weirder because her boyfriend was like 40-something and she looked 20.

Why specifically a McDonald's with a playplace? Are the only playgrounds around you the ones attached to McDonald'ses?

There was a couple straight up making out on the subway yesterday. Like, she was up on his lap, legs wrapped around legs, and tongues did not leave other mouths for the whole time I was on there.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

We live across from a park with a playground. We wanted to a) expose him to something new and b) enjoy the convenience of eating and not needing to worry that he was going to escape into de mountains. Playplaces are enclosed while parks are open enough that you can't let your kid get too far away from you for fear he'll go into the street.
