I've been stuck inside all day, and i'm not sure if we are in a tornado warning...
I love storms. Tropical storms are pretty awesome. Everything gets pitch black and it pours out the heavens. I love to watch them all.
Thunderstorms are neat too. The sky turns green and stuff and it's just awesome.
Only been in a hurricane once, but again, it was awesome.
Now the blackouts that come after? Not awesome...

It was awesome that my house didn't lose power during Hurricane Irene. Or at least it was convenient.

"did you know that in real life all those stats for how often the average person thinks about sex are ACTUALLY about ice cream?"
In Minnesota all we get are tornadoes and severe thunderstorms. One hit while I was at evening church. That was a fun bike ride back... At one point some lightning occurred right above me and apparently a fraction of a mile away. In that instant I realized what it meant to fear God. True story.

Don't you hands hands blizzards too. that lightening story is nothing. A couple years ago when we were down here we were driving home and lightening hit a transformer like right across the street. There was an instant where all we could see was a bright light.

Blizzards? Yeah, I guess. Snow doesn't bug me that much, so they're not as high on my "natural disasters" list as the others are I guess. I've been in most of the nasty ones lately, but usually in the less-effected areas thanks to my school being in the middle of a valley.

Blizzards aren't bad...unless your power goes out for extended periods of time and it is way cold out.
