...HAVE NO FEAR! I went to the midnight premier last night, and it was an excellent movie. Spidey has always been my favorite super hero growing up, and I was not disappointed at all.
There are some parallels for the original trilogy, but I think it did a pretty good job of distancing itself away from those (especially the third one...*shudder*).
So yeah, you guys should totally go see it if you weren't planning on it. Money well spent IMO.

Apparently it got killed in the reviews, but I think that's from people trying to compare it to The Avengers, which really is not fair at all.
I made sure to not compare the two at all and I think I enjoyed the movie more because of it.
