Hey.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

Going good, but sadly I forgot both the e-mail address and password to my Dardove account.

Crap, I'm hoping no one starts digging through my comment history.

The secret to the Web is to write everything under the assumption that your future would-be employers are going to read it immediately before your interview. This doesn't mean you can't speak your mind; it just means you need to be thoughtful enough to minimize saying things you'll later regret. I daresay that if everybody did as much, the Web would be a better place.

I disagree that the web would be a better place. The darkest crap on the web is already fairly well confined, mostly to reddit and sites like it, and so most of the web (YouTube excluded) is pretty decent, and then when you wanna read the really interesting forbidden lore, you can become a redditor. Without forbidden lore (that's what I decided to call the stuff people might regret saying or that's sick or weird or super-niche) the web would be bland!

But, it IS kind of awkward that you found that topic.

Forbidden lore has its appeal, yes. The Colby affair (summary: a dude on AskReddit found his teenage son anally penetrating the family dog with a hairbrush; the mother blamed him; hilarity ensued) was magnificent. I'm more interested in preventing stupidity and vitriol, like in YouTube comments. Stupidity and vitriol are problems throughout the Web, I think, even though the amount varies a lot by community, with YouTube comments and Yahoo Answers tied for the #1 spot.

Well, at this point, it is safe to assume that a good portion of GameFAQs users have a Reddit account.
