So this weekend I'm participating in a 46 hour dance marathon.

Kinda running low on time here! LIke I said in the other topic, it's Penn State THON, which benefits the Four Diamonds Fund at Hershey Medical Center. It goes directly towards kids with pediatric cancer and their families. A part of the mission statement is providing outstanding emotional and financial support to these "Four Diamond" Families.

Well, that's brief, but I do hope you guys check it out! Dancers stand at 6 tonight and the Final Four Hours are easily the most emotional part (Sunday noon-4).

Well, I'm alive. Incredible experience for sure. Not feeling too expressive after typing out this huge thing for Facebook, but needless to say, I will never forget that I danced.

THON is shortened from "Penn State Pan-Helenic Dance Marathon" the shortened abbreviation came in...the mid-late 80s I believe...

You do not have to dance while urinating. Since you have to go every 10-20 minutes (I did at least. So much hydration...), it would be rather inconvenient. You actually don't HAVE to dance. As long as you're up and awake, it doesn't matter what you do.

Dancing is preferable to most things though.

Purely coincidental. Well, actually, you could say that the Triforce looks like the Four Diamonds, since the 4D Fund has been around since 68 (give or take 2 years).
