As the guy who wrote a lot of Rakudo's time-handling code, I consider DST my sworn enemy. I could also blame the C standard library for not handling DST as well as it might, though.

Ugh, I'm so upset. It was finally light out when I left for work, and now it's not again.
The only reason people like DST is because we arbitrarily as a nation decided our daily work time was 9AM-5PM, and people like sunlight "after work."
