Guys, marriage is both the best thing I've ever experienced, and the worst. The highs are so high. The lows are so low. You gotta be real strong to weather it all, or if you're not strong, at least hold your tongue and don't say anything too nasty. NOT for the faint-hearted. You will see what I mean. But seriously, never ever get married unless you are CERTAIN you want to be with this woman/man the rest of your life, absolutely head over heels in love. Your mileage may vary of course.

Thank you everyone for the support and good wishes! I know I haven't said much about my relationship here - likely because I am more of a ghost in these parts nowadays - but Nikkie is the single best thing that has ever happened to me. I couldn't imagine my life with anyone else, and I am so confident in this decision.

Also, we're thinking October 25, 2014 for the date!
