Does anybody wanna play this on the board?
Werewolf is a rebranding of Mafia and there's a good explanation here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(party_game)
I could moderate. We'd play in "real time", i.e. we'd spend a full day on each day phase. Unless everybody wanted to go faster, I guess; it'd be the max time though.
I've played Werewolf before and the first game I ever played ended in the most epic way.
There were four people left and there was only one werewolf left. The werewolf kills the Hunter (or whoever gets a revenge kill after they die.) The Hunter draws an imaginary string back as he prepares to fire... when the person he's about to revenge kill yells out, "Don't kill me! I'm the little girl! HE's the werewolf!" and points across the circle. The look on the last werewolf's face gives him away, the Hunter fires, and the game is over.
Best game ever.

I'm down, totally.
Last time I was playing with friends, there was 4 people left, 2 mafia and 2 regulars. The 2 regulars convinced each other than they were not the mafia, but 1 was still suspicious. The mafia decide to kill one of themselves. The suspicious person FREAKS OUT and just starts screaming at the now dead regular.
One of the funniest moments of my life.

One day my ex-roommate talked to me about having played Werewolf the previous night, and the conversation went on for a while before I realized he was talking about this game and not the pencil-and-paper RPG.

Strictly speaking, that's a Mafia victory already there.
Anyway, yeah, sure, sign me up.

Was it a car or a cat I saw?
OK. We'll start Monday with whomever has expressed interest. I'm off work for a while (taking care of the new baby with Jess) and will be able to moderate.
The night phase will be via PM or e-mail (whichever you like better) and then the day phase will take place in its own topic.

No, I'm not interested, sorry. I was just posting about something slightly relevant, as I tend to do.

I was playing this on a different forum site, but they aren't the nicest there so maybe I might have better success here.
I can try to play!
Edit: A suggestion from what I've played and seen on the other forum is that because the board is slow that one day per phase might not be enough. I'd like to suggest 2-3 day per phase.

Milt, the other white beverage!
Well so four people really isn't enough. Sorry guys.
You could try enlisting some ZSBians.

I'd be interested.

I'm really surprised that you're not interested, Kodi; I thought it'd be right up your alley.
Admittedly it's better in person.
HeyDude posted...

Perhaps, but I have enough of these silly little responsibilities. Here I am posting on PMS again when I mean to be reading about the Asch conformity experiment.
