I don't know what Ys 7 means but that Filter song is pretty good :)
Mmmm, Ys...I want it.

Picked up the humble indie bundle (again). Osmos is some pretty neat stuff.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

I also just picked up the Humble Indie bundle. Beat VVVVVV and am trying And Yet it Moves now.

Wow and f*** VVVVVV.

I kind of dig And Yet It Moves.

Why f*** VVVVVV? Well, yes, it is quite difficult, and it taunts you...but I liked it. Even got all 20 trinkets, which involves passing through a room that talks about how delicious your tears are.
And Yet It Moves is cool, but I think I'd like if better if my USB controller were working properly.

Eh, not really my bag is all. Went for a while and the sense of accomplishment from succeeding didn't outweigh the frustration from failing a dozen times.
I also gave Revenge of the Titans a go. It is ehhhhh.
Nothing so far (and I missed the second one for some reason so I'm throwing that in) matches the sheer charm and joy of World of Goo, though.

Out of the first bundle, I've still only made it through World of Goo. But man, what a game.

I never got through World of Goo. I dunno why.

But I like the WWW.

"…and the colonel was certainly not going to waste his time and energy making love to beautiful women unless there was something in it for him."
Some of the puzzles were wonky, but I saw them through because I craved knowledge of what off the wall thing they would say next. Now I'm onto Zombie Atom Smasher and I'm beginning to notice a pattern, which is that a lot of them have cool gimmicks that are fun for the first few levels, then they crank up the learning curve and without some fun quirk to maintain an interest I just can't do it. I think I have video game ADD.
Also Kodi I am amazed at your ability to parse those VVVVVVs. My eyes cannot make coherent Ws out of them.

No, I've noticed the same thing, and I don't. It's a failing of the games themselves. I stuck with VVVVVV because of the exploring Metroid-y ness and it's not that long, only 2 hours-ish.

I admit that I counted the "V"s before noticing I could make that joke.

Counting the Vs also would have driven me mad.
And yeah, I might go back to VVVVVV, I was just a little too intoxicated for precision gameplay to be any thing but frustrating.

Currently I'm listening to "Believe What We Tell You" by The Sleeping, who I only saw/acquired the complete discography of because my buddy got tickets for no reason, but they were pretty growly and I gave up, but it turns out this album is way better/less growly than the others.
