GameFox not working?

Hey guys, GameFox has been on the fritz for me for awhile, and it's getting to the point where it'd getting on my nerves.

I'm pretty sure it was working when I was running 4.0, but the flash player crashed for some reason (unable to watch youtube videos), so I downgraded to 3.6 with an old install I had on my desktop. And, well, since then it hasn't worked. I have it enabled, but quickposting and quoting isn't available.

I'm like 90% sure it works, because I keep seeing people use quotes that are the format GameFox uses (with the quoted text boxed instead of being italicized like the GameFAQs quoting system uses).

I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, to nothing.

So, am I doing something wrong, or am I just an idiot and it's not working for anyone?
