It was as easy as going to the local Best Buy after dropping my mom off at work. Got there at 9:15, some guys from the store handed out slips at 9:30 and 9:50. It's a pretty nice tablet. I don't think I would have paid any more than that, though. Good thing, too, since I'm pretty sure the original price on the thing was 400+.
As a bonus, I posted about my adventure on Facebook and invited people to join me, and a friend I hadn't seen in about a year came by and he snagged one too. We caught up by swapping stories about our travels to the Philippines. I'd say I did pretty well today.

That's pretty cool. I just wonder if getting the touchpad is a good choice since they discontinued it/stopped supporting it. I guess if it's that cheap, though, it is.
I do love that about Facebook, how easy it is for someone else to just show up and then catch up. One of my high school friends often posts about her stand-up shows, so one day I just decided to go and it was nice.
