I once convinced a person that she needed to get a snowbrella to protect her from Kansas' dangerous snownados. She was from Arizona?

No snow over here in Washington. But apparently sometime in the 70s it snowed 2 inches in Seattle in mid/late October and people were freaking out. Looks like Seattle's reaction to snow of any amount hasn't changed in the last 40 years.

I was once watching a history channel presentation on the Great Chicago Fire, and at some point in the narrative the guy is talking about fire being whipped up into a frenzy not unlike a tornado, "sometimes called a firenado". I was ashamed to hear that kind of language on the history channel.

Ugh. Got trapped on a Metro-North train for like two and a half hours (a ride that was, in fairness, supposed to be an hour long).
I was getting pretty weary of the whole thing until a conductor pointed out "in fairness, guys, if this were the Long Island railroad we all would've given up and started walking home a while ago." Which is true.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

My sister's going to a 'Too soon' party today. Last night she decided to go as snow.

Was it a car or a cat I saw?

Yeah, you know, dress like something that's just, "Aw, too soon." Like Steve Jobs or, I dunno, a brutalized OWSer or something.

Was it a car or a cat I saw?
Would a plane crashing into One World Trade Center count?
