Kirby's Return to Dreamland is extremely fun.

I was playing it co-op with two friends last night and we were having a blast. It's just as fun solo, too.

Looking forward to see what happens when we collect all the 'gears' in all the levels. Probably some post-apocalyptic thing that seems entirely too dark for a Kirby game, except for the fact that such a thing happens in nearly every standard Kirby game I can think of.

I really want to get it, but I want to have 4 players like I did for New Super Mario Bros Wii, but the three people I played that with are no longer available.

I am out of the loop.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

It's like NSMB but for Kirby, indeed. The lives are counted collectively and you only have to start over the level (or section of a level if you make it to a checkpoint) if Player 1 dies. Other players can drop in and out as they please. If a player comes in, it deducts one life from the total, and if they drop out, the life is credited back. This means that if a player wants to swap out their character (players other than the primary can choose from being another Kirby, Metaknight, Waddle Dee, or King Dedede), you can do so with little penalty. The characters can team up and piggy back, and if you're Kirby, you can suck in your teammates and use them as projectiles. All in all, it's very fun, and even with three people on the screen it never feels hectic to the point of ridiculous.

I haven't yet run into the classic Kirby puzzle where there are three sections of blocks you can blow up to open a path, but if you blow up the middle one, it actually seals off the path to the treasure. I swear they have that in every single Kirby game.
