That what I went as today, to prevent being ridiculed for not having a costume because I didn't have time to come up with one.
Two of my friends dressed up as roadkill, though, they were really good costume. Tire-tracks and intestines hanging out and everything.

Oh man that's a good one.
I usually end up doing something where I can just kind of wear a suit and, ideally, spray my hair black (so people won't be like "you just put on a suit"). Like last year I was a southern riverboat gentleman (Vest + Olde Timey hat I already owned + bola I purchased for the occasion). The year before that, I was a guy who went to the party dressed as Bruce Wayne but who did not realize that Bruce Wayne is Batman.
