Oh man I just had the most awkward Thanksgiving. Every time I said something subtle or semantically reliant on wordplay her mom just answered with a sharp confused "what?" And I don't know if you guys realize how much of my shtick relies on convolusion and wordplay, but at the risk of horrifying some of you I'm actually like this.

Well, I met Jess's dad a few days before I had an interview. When he asked me what I do, I said well actually I have an interview on Monday for a tech support position.
Next time I saw him, I had the job, so I'd say I started off nicely.
