I got a pullup bar

I once did three pullups in a set, but that was some years ago. I can now do like 1 1/2 before I start sucking.

Still, a couple is enough for my upper body to be wrecked the next day, so it's pretty good.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

That's about what I can do. The shame of it ensures that it'll be so long before I try again, that I will never do it sufficiently often to be able to do more. A vicious cycle!

I would love a gymnastics set. I want to learn how to fly man, always been a dream of mine.

Here's what I normally do with a pullup bar-

Set it up in a doorway of a room you walk into/out of a whole lot (bedroom, computer room, bathroom(?), living room, whatever). And, every time you enter or leave that room, you do a pullup. Sounds pretty simple at first, but then you started to realize how often you go in-out of that room. Usually you'll end up doing somewhere between 10-20 per day. Keep doing so until 1 pullup is to (too? I spent a minute trying to figure this out...) easy. Then up it to two each time you enter/leave (should take about two weeks or so). Rinse and repeat. You'll be working your arms out a whole bunch during the day, but not really tiring yourself out.

Trust me, it works. Great way to work out your upper body without really trying to. And don't think you aren't able to do it. You're only doing 1 pull up per time, and you'll probably have a full recovery (2 minutes+) between each one. May sound hard at first, but once you start doing it you'll realize it's pretty easy.

And no skimping out by skipping pullups or avoiding the room as much as possible. Pullups take like 10 seconds, and you'll only get stronger with the more you do =D

Too bad you don't put as much time into grammar as into exercise.

Don't worry LinkPrime. It may hurt at first, but if you keep exercising your grammar muscles, it'll get stronger.

Yeah, that might be the trick of it. I usually don't like to do all day sorts of things like that 'cause then you get all gross and sweaty but that doesn't seem to be the case with the pullups since the length of exertion is so short.
