I have been temp banned. A couple of years ago I thought it would be really cool to rickroll the fellas at the PotD board. And it was cool, so cool my account got iced for two weeks.
We've probably heard some of these before, but let's share the memories.

The worst that's ever happened to me mod-wise was when, about a decade ago, I lost a few Karma for trolling Random Insanity by bumping old topics. More harrowing was the time when I tried to log into mimir227 from a relative's computer and, because of some rule about using different IP addresses at the time, I was locked out of my account for about a month. What was most aggravating was that while the lock was in place, I didn't know when it would go away, if ever. Why didn't I just make a new account, you ask? Because I'm dumb.

Yeah, got banned in '05 for something stupid that wasn't worthy of it. I don't even remember what the initial offense was at this point. What did me in was contesting the moderation with -

I got hit by that 30 day purg back in 2007 when LL was hacked and all accounts that were possibly compromised were put on temporary lockdown.
Right in the middle of summer, too. Bummer.

A few 3-5KL, but that's about it....actually, now that I think about it, I've only had 1 3KL ever. Pretty recent too, a few months ago I used the r-word (the one about forced sexual acts) on the Black Ops board, descriping how awesome this weapon layout I was using is.
Wasn't really aware of the 0-tolerance rule for stuff like that, especially since there was the whole redone ToS shortly after.

My account was in purgatory for, I think, two weeks because I tried to convince CE and RI to be friends, which qualified as board invasion. I first created a topic about some problem I had on both boards, they both gave good suggestions and were supportive, and then, I created a second topic on each board with links to both of the first two topics, explaining that both boards had been helpful, and that both boards had decent users. This was about four years ago.

I was sent to purgatory once for "suggested" board invasion. At the time, the ACSB was being invaded by the Fire Emblem Social Board as well as the Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Social Board. I made a tongue in cheek post about returning the favor to them. Even included a :-P at the end! That said, sarcasm often doesn't translate well to text. Got a 10KL and sent to purgatory for two weeks.
