I'm lucky, actually, that my interests and abilities tend to line up so well. It's not a coincidence. of course—people like what they're good at and they get better at what they like—but it's always heartbreaking to see, for example, people who like math but are crummy at it, or people who seem to be mathematically talented but don't care about math. My only big gap in ability and interest is singing. When I sing, I'm the only one who enjoys it. In four years of high-school chorus, I never became decent. When I entered chorus again in college, halfway through the first session, a kid sitting beside me asked if I'd ever sung in a chorus before. And last night, when I played the singing part in a video game (Rock Band, I think) at a party at my adviser's house, I had difficulty with Easy and got a lot of snarky comments from the other players.

The New York Rangers are a National Hockey League team.

The Texas Rangers are a Major League Baseball team.

Aside from the name, they have nothing in common.

Trivia- The New York Rangers were founded nearly 40 years before the Texas Rangers.

Honestly I don't follow Hockey much at all; I just felt a sigh of relief when the Bruins were knocked out.

Then again, it's Baseball season now so there's still plenty of Red Sox crowds.

By the way, have I mentioned I live in Boston now?

After the Sens got eliminated I pretty much lost interest in the playoffs. I like the Devils much more than I like the Rangers, so if the conference finals comes down to the two of them, I'll certainly be rooting for the Devils.
