It's actually pretty fun, as long I skip most of the review text. I got sorted into Gryffindor, and have a laurel wand with unicorn core, ten and three quarter inches, pliant.

It's pretty nostalgic. Also, I can't find that last chocolate frog card. =/

What's with the wanding?

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

My girlfriend got into....can't remember the name...the one where all the lame untalented and uninteresting people go.

I honestly don't know why people hate on Hufflepuff so much. They're some of the nicest, and probably most social house in the series. It's not talent they value, but acceptance and kindness, and I find that a lot more attractive than Gryffindor and Slytherin, who are always at each others throats, and Ravenclaw, who is kind of aloof and condescending.

What's with what wanding, btw?

Not only that, but their main two attributes are loyalty and hard work.

The hat had trouble deciding for me, torn between Hufflepuff and Slytherin, so I got to pick between the two. I chose Hufflepuff.

In fairness, Hufflepuff is super boring.

...huh?

I recently learned (from Wikipedia; I never realized it myself while reading any of the books) that Gryffindor corresponds to fire, Slytherin to water, Ravenclaw to air, and Hufflepuff to earth.

I'm not sure how much I agree with that. Well, I mean, the earth = Hufflepuff connection is pretty solid, but the rest, not so much.

That makes much more sense than one of them being the "Evil" house.

Well, if we go by the D&D-ish definition of evil as one who is totally selfish and puts the self over others, and then one house is based on the trait ambition, it makes some sense that that would be the evil house.

They're not mutually exclusive. I had relations with Jess during The Shining I think. It was some 60s classic movie.

You know I came back to edit that post out with an observation about how it's needlessly creepy to mix Harry Potter and Wine.
