Favorite memories from high school

I have two that compete to be my favorite, but one would require a lot of explanation, and the other doesn't, so here's the latter:

We didn't have off-campus lunch, but we did have a friend who had no fourth-hour class, so he could just leave the school during fourth hour, which encompassed lunchtime. Our friend would bring us lunch specials from a locally loved Chinese place now and then. One day I decided to snazz it up and I went to the dollar store to get supplies. The next day we ate lunch in style... table cloth, tall candles in candlesticks, and placemats. Several of the "babysitting" (security) staff were very amused and I still have a picture of this. 'Twas good times!

^ That sounded like a lot of fun.

Every time I think of high school, it's always about my high school crushes and how the majority of them were unrequited and at a distance. Which was how I liked it at the time; I always enjoyed just sitting back and feeling warm and fuzzy without having to do anything.

In eleventh grade, my crazy English teacher (is there any other kind?) assigned a crushing load of homework. When I asked for a deadline to be extended and she condescendingly refused, I let her have it in a screaming rant. I didn't do one of the larger assignments, but I got an A- or so in that quarter anyway. I suspect she appreciated my spirit.

In twelfth grade, my class did a production of Alice in Wonderland. I played the White Rabbit. Except for how I had to run around in a bunny suit in a tiny un-air-conditioned theater in June, it was pretty cool.

Fred: "in genesis noah also put two of every animal on a boat when he was 600."

Ha, I remember that. I'll nominate it as the best idea you ever had- what a legendary lunch, man.

Makes me miss the old Happy Garden. Maybe I can have them mail me some sesame.

During my junior year, we held a world record breaking water balloon fight. Over 1000 people and almost 11000 balloons. I filled up hundreds of them myself and we transported nearly all of them to the field where we had the event in my truck. It was an awesome day.

I used to write and perform plays, that was pretty fun.
