They're friggin magical. First time I saw one I was just giddy with delight.
For the uninitiated it's a soda dispensing machine with a touchscreen. It has tons of soda selections on it and you can also use any flavored syrup with your drink as well. I'm partial to Mello Yello w/peach. The way it lights the top of your drink so that each bubble looks perfect and shiny is amazing. I felt like I was in the future or in a Coke commercial. So perfect it seemed fake. I bought a damn $5 drink at the theatre just so I could experience it.
I think I saw one of these at a Noodles and Company once... Didn't know you could mix them though. That's pretty awesome.

They've been in this area for about a year or so... Noodles & Company, Five Guys, and Fuddruckers are a few of the places that have installed them. Not coincidentally, I have been more inclined to frequent these restaurants. It's the only place I've been able to get Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper since it was discontinued in late 2009/early 2010.

That does sound like a pretty cool machine. Though I don't really drink soda anymore, I would if I found one of those.
