Huh... GameFAQs is a lot older than I thought it would be

Kinda surprised to see that the majority of users are between 21-28, which, ironically enough, covers pretty much all of us, right?

This is another case where I wish they would publish the raw data every now and again, because I'd be really interested to see what the rate of people lying is. (That is that there's a discrepancy between their birthday and their poll response; I guess you wouldn't be able to tell which one was false.)

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

Perhaps GameFAQs has a lot of long-time users but rarely acquires new ones. We should then expect to see the whole userbase age along with us PMSians.

That happens with turtle populations in areas affected by habitat destruction. They'll stop breeding (because they go on land to do that, and are most sensitive to habitat changes there) but linger on for 40-60 years because they live for a long while, so it looks like a vital population, but it's just a bunch of old dudes. (Turtles.)

I was thinking the same thing Kodi.

And as a Marketing guy, I would love to see the raw data on the polls/site-wide info...but then I remembered I even lied about my own information...yeah.

The Glitz Pit is nice this time of year, in case you're wondering.

What do you guys mean, "raw data"? If you click on "view results", you can see exactly how many votes each option got. Do you mean you want to see each voter's IP address or when each vote arrived or something?

Demographics is my concern. How are different ages voting for different options? Does region affect answers? Stuff like that.

You could get region information from IP addresses, that's true, but I doubt the GameFAQs people have any better idea of people's ages than their answers to this very poll.

*I* meant that each user theoretically provided a birthdate at registration. The correlation (via user ID I guess) of UIDBirthdate vs UIDpollanswer would be interesting, naw mean?

I thought it was a rule that whenever a website asked for your exact birthdate, you said you were born on January 1, 1920, or so.
