Like today I just saw Rudy for the first time. I mentioned that to my Dad and he was like, "Where have you been for 20 years? I have the DVD right here."
We also talked about The Goonies while there (since it was another Sean Astin flick), which I also haven't seen.
Earlier today with my boyfriend we were talking how I hadn't seen many of those seminal 80s movies like The Breakfast Club or Sixteen Candles (which I did see the first 30 min of). --- "To truly live, one must first be born." ~ Evan [aX] Paper Mario Social: The Safe Haven of GameFAQs. I missed "Sixteen Candles" too, but saw The Breakfast Club a few months ago finally. There's nothing else really... I made an effort in college to catch up on all that stuff via piracy and lots of free time.
I did manage to watch that one day in college, but I haven't seen The Godfather: Part II, which is supposed to be the better one? --- "To truly live, one must first be born." ~ Evan [aX] Paper Mario Social: The Safe Haven of GameFAQs. (Board 2000083)
I haven't seen Scarface which has been the subject of a campaign lately.
Also like none of the films anyone has mentioned. I saw The Goonies as a kid but it didn't make the impression on me it seems to have on everyone else. --- Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both. -Mimir
What wil said about The Goonies applies to me and The Sandlot. --- Well, there is a new accent of n00b language. It's called: Vet LUEser goes Foreign!-MegaSpy22 Those must be the pants of the gods!-Digitalpython
