If I wanted to start recording videos what software should I use?

Youtube has a feature where you can directly record straight to them.

Yeah but it barely picks up my mic and you can barely hear me.

I don't see that being a problem with youtube, though it could be. Try recording your voice with voice recorder or something and see if it does the same thing.

it's probably your mic 'cause i recorded the Anthem straight to youtube and it came out fine.
