Kodi Arfer / Wisterwood

The PMS archive is live!

Some notes:
• The archive is updated daily, at 2 AM Eastern.
• To change the time zone used for display, see the options page (http://arfer.net/pms/options).
• The data is stored in a SQLite database. If you want a copy of it, just ask. I'm not going to put a download link to it on the site because I'm afraid it could consume a lot of bandwidth.
• Source code forthcoming!
• If the unreliability of the server annoys you, feel free to donate money with which I could upgrade to paid hosting :).
• I named it "Wisterwood" because I thought that sounded better than "Koopa Koot".

This is excellent.
So...about modifying this for LUE. Possible?

So...about modifying this for LUE. Possible?

Yes, it will definitely be possible. The implementation consists of a set of Perl modules which take parameters and spit out HTML 4. To use it to run your own archive, you plug in a few CGI scripts, a cron job to update the database, a template SQLite database, and a stylesheet.

That could be nice.

Would it be possible then to
(a) host the code source and
(b) write down a brief explanation as to how it works?

With your permission, I'd like to be able to copypasta that to LUE and see if it generates any interest. And like I said, I'd credit you for everything.

The source code will come with an example site, which should hopefully be sufficient.

I'll need an email, however. Send me anything on the one I have in my profile. Or better still, if you can remember your password to LF, send me a private message.

Turns out that my host behaves fine except when I update CGI scripts, which mysteriously causes it to hiccup. I don't change things often, and all other things being equal, I'd prefer to keep all the sites I administer (http://arfer.net/pms, http://arfer.net/tla, and http://arfer.net/schedule_generator) under one roof. But thanks for the offer.

Alrighty, then. Feel free to contact me if it changes. I would gladly host anything of yours in the event of a problem.
