I have an iPod but only because I got stuck with their entirely ridiculous DRM (read: on ripped CDs primarily) when I bought one as a young'n.
Rapidly reconsidering anything in the universe that uses a smaller client. iTunes somehow uses more system resources than a Chrome window playing a youtube video, which isn't right. It's just not right.

I didn't own an Apple product until I got to college and my primary mp3 player broke, and the local bookstore happened to have a good deal on previous generation Nanos. Now I have my iPod touch. I'm not a fanatic or anything, but it doesn't seem that odd to me, especially when a lot of people are vehemently anti-Apple based on their ad campaign with Justin Long from several years back.

Hmm... it doesn't seem that strange, actually. Taking into account most of the people I know personally (25ish?), less than 50% of them own an Apple product. It would be weird if most of them didn't own an MP3 player, but many of the non iPod owners in my social circle have Zunes or other such media players, which is fine. I was a satisfied Zune owner for 3 years. So taking music devices out of the equation, it would seem entirely fair to assume less than half of the population relies on Apple for their computer and telephonealogical needs.
Also, I wonder how long it will take for Aman to realize this topic is about Apple.
