Civ IV. It started, though, because they had Civ Rev free for iPhone (and thus iPad and iPod Touch), which my flatmate was constantly playing (it was his first Civ), and then we decided it was time to "upgrade."

I know an electrician who used to spend almost all his free-time (and electricians in Michigan have a lot of that) on that game. It *is* pretty cool.
It's taking a lot of willpower to keep doing work and not play.

I fondly recall how in tenth grade I would get home from school and play Civilization II till bed, with breaks only for homework and dinner.
