This program was a big part of my childhood.

Also, Chip's Challenge, Encyclopedia, and Window's Sound Recorder (it had simple editing features back then).

Actually, my sister and I used to make and edit sound clips to amuse ourselves. It was like our own personal YouTube. Most of it was rather ridiculous, but it was tons of fun.

Any of you have fond memories of your early or pre-internet days of using computers?

Oh holy crap. I had this program and it was the best. I loved watching the videos about how crayons and markers were made. I actually did a speech in 8th grade about the history of Crayola because of this program and I ended up getting 2nd place for it or something like that at my school's speech competition.

I was also all over that Encarta encyclopedia. Mind Maze actually used to scare me as a kid, but I liked finding articles with video clips and animations. I remember reading a lot about the solar system back in those days.

Super Maze Wars in my elementary school's computer lab, with eight players at a time, was always fun. And who could forget http://www.reddit.com/r/oregontrailproblems

They say I'm just scared. Yes, I am scared. But that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

You Don't Know Jack got me in trouble because my friend brought it over and we installed it on my home computer, and the Jack Attack was drug-based and my dad came in and said '...what are those things coming up on the screen?' ...That was hard to explain in 5th grade.
