There's other things I could be doing! Okay, aerobic exercise is pretty easy to multitask during (listen to a podcast while running, or watch TV while on a treadmill, etc). But things like strength training and yoga, not so much.

You may, if you try, learn to enjoy it in and of itself.

But you feel better about yourself afterwards!

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

Well, the thing is, I have no problem with physical activity. In fact, I really enjoy it. Kayaking (as I mentioned a few weeks ago), hiking, climbing, those are all good things. I think my problem is the lack of destination. I would never go kayak in a small area with no goal, I would only want to go on a trip, with something to accomplish. Yeah, exercising has a goal/accomplishment, but they're much longer term.

Yeah I getcha. Have you tried something focused on doing it way fast? Like an all pushup regimen? Those are designed to be done in like 20 minutes.
