I can see why the finale gets a ton of nerdrage hate, but it also seems excessive. There were a bunch of ridiculous things where I thought they'd written themselves into a corner, but they pulled it out (everything relating to "the final five" including people referring to them as "the final five"), and most of the real glaring things they just kind of brushed aside since discretion is the better part of valor (everything to do with Starbuck, how obviously no one at any time Had A Plan).
It made me somewhat sad that a character actually came out and articulated the theme that people make technology recklessly, because, y'know, it's a show about killer robots. And why they decided to go lighthearted for the first or second time on the show in the last three minutes is beyond me.
But hell of a ride etc. I'd recommend it.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

One of these days I've got to watch that. Maybe after I finish up Farscape.

I've looked at the world for quite a few years now and I've found that if I don't laugh, I'll probably end up crying.
I have heard I should watch Farscape.

If you haven't seen it I would recommend it. I've watched it multiple times.
It's also on Netflix right now, if you have a subscription.
