I've looked at the world for quite a few years now and I've found that if I don't laugh, I'll probably end up crying.
Happy Birthday! Ha
Py Birthday! Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Kate!
Maybe I shouldn't quit school and become a haiku poet.

Happy birthday yo!

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

Psh, I would never miss my own party. I am a lady of punctuality and class. *looks at calendar* Ah, balls.
Thanks for the birthday wishes and the excellent haiku! You guys are all the coolest internet dudes I know.

Everyone: A PMS life for the win!
Oh man, I just found the PMRPG website: http://www.geocities.ws/pmrpgv2/home.html
James and Will, I had no concept of all the planning and writing that went into this when I was a naive, reverent kid. This is all freaking awesome! If I haven't said it before, thanks for making the game and letting us play it. It's a great memory I'll always have. (And now I want to play it again, ha!)
Haha, now I just read through that whole silly site, and want to play it, too. I really enjoyed the combat/battle system we came up with.

Yeah! What an immense task. It was a lot of fun, though. I liked when all the rival groups had to band together to defeat the dragon in the Toad Town sewers. I think that's where it was.

Oh that is an amazing find. I'm just impressed with the sheer number of things there are rules for that would never come up.
(Also I remember dragging my feet terribly throughout the whole process, so virtually all the credit should have gone/continue to go to James.)

I dunno, Wil, a lot of the writing on that site is definitely your prose, not mine. (Particularly the weapons.) And I believe you made the combat system (while I made the battle system).

Dudes, this game is an awesome concept! It's like Mario meets D&D! We should totally revive it!! :D
PS: You should make ZB (AKA Zach Burgandy) the god of either music or trolling.

Oh God the PMS religion. I'm so sorry everyone that's that's like 3 dLJ of high school internet embarrassment right there.
There's so much awesome stuff here. Like last night I somehow missed the absurdly detailed alcohol rules. And of course the weapon pages which are full of things that *I don't know how to parse*. Like Scattering? Do we define Scattering?
We have a page for status effects, and a page about how dryite combat is built around blinding opponents, but nowhere do we describe what being blind does. And the Dryite catapult "acts like Chaff." That's great, us from a decade ago. What's Chaff do?
Also, what's the in-joke I've forgotten about the yoshis' tongueblades? Were they just disproportionately kickass in the first game?

I'm sure things like that were borrowed terms from other things we've long forgotten?
Toungeblades, I'm pretty sure it's just an erotic thing, not an in-joke.

Tongueblades... sounds sexy.
But yeah, the God of Music and Trolling. Great excuse for me to be the DJ of the game. Gimmie an offering I like and I'll present a tune of either your choice or mine (I'm a pretty whimsical god, you see...). I'll probably play something really annoying even if I appreciated the offering... the music could cause status effects, buffs, debuffs, and maybe some other things, depending on what the game needs.
Oh, and I want an army of cavaliers who instead of riding on horses, they just prance about, Gangnam Style, as they mow down everybody in their way with lances and obnoxiously loud dubstep.

Does it sound sexy? Does it?
Ed. So surely someone else has had a negative experience with a tongue ring of which more needn't be said.
Ed. of Ed. More importantly don't ever get a tongue ring. Nothing good comes of them.

Well, the lot of you should know by now that roughly 90% of the things I say are comprised of either sarcasm or just complete and utter bull****...
