Halloween Plans?

This year, a couple of guys and I are going as some incarnation of the NWO.

I don't quite know what that means, but for the first time in my life I own a sleeveless t-shirt and a cowboy hat that says "Heart Break Kid". (I have long hair, you see.)

My students are off on Halloween, but I have a teacher in-service that day. I'm strongly tempted to show up to it dressed as the creepy former Burger King mascot.

I used to like wrestling in like...8th grade.

Though I was The Riddler, like, 3 years ago, I'm really excited to be it again because this year Halloween falls on a Wednesday, which is the day I give quizzes to my classes. So now they will be riddles.

I handed out candy and sometimes struck poses for people.

Last weekend I was dressed up nice (dress shirt, tie, vest, nice pants) for a dinner but there was a Halloween-esque party afterward. I threw on a snapback hat and a plastic Pokeball and I was a Pokemon trainer of the Connoisseur class.

Also there was a couple maybe a few years older than me in costume with their very small, infant baby (also in costume), trick or treating. I appreciated the fact that both they and their child were trick or treating, but I also couldn't help but think I was witnessing babysploitation.

Our office holiday party was delayed until Friday because of the Hurricane warning. It was mostly a bunch of candy and ice cream and people bringing their little kids. I went as the Slender Man.
