I agree with many of those things, but I don't understand the hate people have for those finger shoes. I don't and wouldn't wear them, but I don't find them any more awful than any other shoes.

I find them way less awful than scooters. Like people often in professional work attire riding scooters down the street. I do not care for that.

Never come up. Mostly what I find uneasy is the disparity of speed, and I get the sense (mostly from Arrested Development) that they don't go terribly fast, so I might be okay with that?

On the other hand, they sure seem like they'd take up a lot of sidewalk space, and that I would not be into.

You know, toe shoes seem logical. Heck, even Al Bundy considered them the Shoes of the Gods, before they even existed. My problem with them, though, is that they are all super-ugly. Maybe if they actually looked good, somehow, they might work.

I feel like they've gotta be bad for your toes. It's not natural to have separated toes.

I was asking my parents what they wanted for Christmas and my dad was fixated on getting a Segway for all of about 15 minutes. They cost as much as a used car.

If you end of getting one of those toe-shoes (I forget the actual name, and I don't think anyone's mentioned it here), your calves are gonna feel it for awhile.

Just a little warning is all. I don't own a pair, but I've got friends who do. They love them, it just takes a bit of time to adjust.
