This is easily the best thing Old Spice has done since Old Spice guy in 2006. Actually, I take that back; all of their advertising has been pretty fantastic for the last couple of years.
The gameplay changes for each level and the last couple have actually been pretty challenging.

Level 3's boss gave me problems until I learned that you can jump over its screen-crossing lunge attack, even if it looks like Dikembe can't make it.
Level 4's boss is ridiculous; when she spams the move that makes the castle pieces collapse, I would just dodge like crazy. But it definitely took me the most tries.
The first time I tried level 2 there was a weird bug where I couldn't kill any of the enemies even if the kids were offscreen.
And I love the dialogue. "For friendship!" "...I heard you the first time."

Kodi did you get all that far into Shut Up and Jam Gaiden? I picked it up at one point, but I don't think I actually played it, but it's part of our shared goon history, so perhaps I should know more.

I've never played it. I only learned it existed either from reading Homestuck or from browsing Wikipedia articles about weird video games (on the subject, here's another good one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaq-Fu ).

I really enjoyed Level 5. I was doing really well until the final boss. I only beat him because I realized you could cheat and use Science to attack while you are safe-ish from harm.

That was the only way I was able to beat the boss. I hung out in the safe zone near the top left of the screen and Science took down the boss's last forms. I didn't think that would actually work because I thought the boss's attack pattern would change.

I think that tactic might not have been necessary if you managed to keep the triple laser all the way up to that point, but otherwise, yeah, it's tough.

So it took me like 3-4 play-thrus of the level to get the double rainbow reference...
And I just went HAM on the boss. The blue version always gave me a game over though =/
I just hold down space bar and move VERY slightly to the left. I reset to the right when there's a break at all. I found the red part easier than the blue, I dunno who.
Love all the Star Fox references though...
