So I know that I've posted dance choreography videos in the past and they don't tend to get a lot of response or interest out of everyone, but I really did feel like I had to show you all this one.

It's called "Lois Lane," choreographed by Keone Madrid, one of my favorite dancers and choreographers. Vinh Nguyen, another one of my favorite dancers/choreographers, is also in this video.
It starts out with a spoken word piece with simple matching choreography, then a full piece set to "Superman" by Robin Thicke.
The choreography hits hard on what is otherwise what I'd consider a more sweet, understated song. It's my belief that dance is one of the few mediums that we can use to strike at people's emotions through motion, and there is such an inherent strength and sweetness in the story that they tell here that I couldn't help but share it with all of you. The ability for dance to incite those feelings and stir those emotions is why I wanted to start learning how to dance in the first place, and seeing this piece was a reminder I hadn't had in awhile that dance has the ability to bring out more than just feelings of awe in people.
So with that, I hope you'll watch and enjoy "Lois Lane."

I understand how a lot of hard work and accomplishment and perseverance goes into this, and in that sense, very well done. But I just don't really "get" dance.
Yeah I dunno, I think there's a whole language or convention of dance that's lost on me. Like that Beyonce video that was the greatest video of all time, like I get that it was a technical achievement, but I dunno. I literally dun no.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

This reminds me of the movie The Incredibles. She wouldn't build him a costume with a cape. And she made a really good case against capes. It makes me feel dumb for thinking a cape would be good.
