So this topic is a bit overdue...

Credit goes to ZB for finally inspiring me to type this thing out. It's something I have been putting off for...well, years I guess.

SUP GUYZ!? So I never actually made a topic introducing myself so...'ERE GOES RIGHT!?

So, most people call me Jerry (Gerry). I'm 21 and from Long Island, NY (pretty much right in between Kodi and Jace). Right now I'm a senior at Penn State and loving every second of it. I'm heavily involved in a student-run philanthropy called THON, but I'll probably post another topic about that some time next week.

So other stuffs...uhm...I'm involved in other things on campus too, but I won't bore you with those details. I like sports and vidieyeahgamez and uhh....yeah! I'm a Jets/Knicks/Rangers/Yankees fan (Breaking from the traditional NY mold a bit).

Uhm...I guess that's enough for now, huh? Facebook's a possibility too I guess.

To say that I'm outlandish and over-the-top doesn't even scrape the bottom.

It seems appropriate that you made this topic, since I've long felt you're among the PMSians I know least.

So, what's your major? What do you want to be when you grow up? You mentioned taking a law-related class once; did you fire off law-school applications last semester?

I'm glad you're happy at Penn State. When I was seventeen, it was eminently clear to me that I wouldn't be at home in a huge public school. Now I am in a huge public school, but as a graduate student, so it's not nearly as isolating as it is for the undergraduates.

You know, every time I go over the list of things in my head I know about PMSians (which is not often), the only things I'm really able to come up with about you are that you live somewhere ambiguously on the East Coast, you like sports, and possibly used to run track (I might have made this up.)

A good friend of mine is a Jets fan and I was briefly interested in the Knicks last year until I realized it was only because of Jeremy Lin (I don't follow NBA otherwise... or now, really).

What other things do you do on campus? I'm infinitely interested in the things that people choose to do while they're at college because some of my old roommates from my undergrad years did nothing but go to class and do homework and I couldn't have fathomed doing just that because I would have died of boredom.

I'm a Marketing Major (Pooty actually helped me out a little when I was making that decision) with a minor in International Business. The Law class was a part of the general Business Curriculum. Law School is NOT in my future haha. Interesting stuff, but I dunno if I wanna commit any more time to school before getting a real job, you know?

You in fact did not make that up! I was a distance runner in high school, and I'm sure I let that slip a few times.

I'm the THON Chair for the Marketing Association on campus (basically I handle all the THON-related stuff we do). I'm on a Public Relations committee for THON as well (like I said, REALLY involved). I'll probably get a topic up over the weekend about it, because it is a very important part of my life. I'm also a part of the Management Association, and I've got a lot of old friends involved in it. I used to be the Treasurer for the Club Ultimate team, but time didn't really let me commit to it. I'll be playing pretty regularly after spring break though, I hope.
