Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

I had an adult snow week last year and that kicked ass. Except I had to use vacation days to pay it back later, which was lame. So I guess it wasn't really a snow day at all.

Stony Brook, in its infinite wisdom, declared half a snow day: classes starting after noon were canceled, but not classes that started at or before noon.

Although the storm passed here awhile ago, little of the snow has melted or sublimated, I guess because of the temperature. A minute ago, I happened to be looking outside my window when a big mound of snow my landlord had shoveled onto some bushes on Saturday spontaneously fell back down.

I guess that makes sense what with its weird structure and how the sun works. But it's weird to think about because it's invisible.
