Woke up at 5 in the morning intensely in pain. Took some aspirin and decided to go to work anyway, but my coworkers made me leave and go to a doctor, who told me that it was costochondritis, which is basically inflammation of the cartilage between rib bones, which no one really knows how it's caused, but that it's not a big deal. Laughing hurts the most, which is difficult, because I laugh really easily, and really heartily.

Ah yes, my girlfriend had that once, for quite a long time indeed. Best of luck!

Long time, eh? How long? The prescription I got lasts through a week.

I've gotten something like that twice in my life and simply waited for it to go away. Kinda sucked!
Man, that's the best/worst when something has a name and it's only a minor annoyance but because it's just irritating no one cares enough to cure it.
