If you cook with spicy stuff WASH YOUR HANDS

Yesterday I heated up some leftovers in the microwave and then decided to add a little spice to them. I took a dried red chile and broke it up with my fingers and it went into properly sized flakes and onto the food and the food was great. I kind of clapped off my hands to get the spice dust off. Or so I thought... later in the bathroom after peeing I was BURNING BURNING OH GOD and I realized there must have still been some spice dust on my hands. Boy, what a difference there is... when you eat the red chile, it's not so bad. When you rub some on your dong, it's very spicy indeed!

Oh man. I had some garden-grown ones that I would put into my morning hot cereal. ('Cause in the morning I like it bland, but I also like it overbearingly spiced.)

Anyway, it eventually occurred to me to just grind up a whole lot of them at once and put those into a shaker, but in the meantime all but the most abject dong-burn is nothing to me now.

Willis, it seems like every other time you post, I need to look up a word that's in the OED or Urban Dictionary but not both.

I usually wash my hands after cooking, but that's mostly because of working with raw meat. Thanks for the warning though. I am grateful for your sacrifice.
