It takes me a long time to get into vacation mode.

Whenever someone suggests we change into year-round schooling (with longer breaks during the year), I get annoyed, because that pretty much means no vacation for me anymore. It takes me a few weeks to adjust my sleeping schedule (I just woke up feeling like I slept super late...and it's 7:30). Also, I am still constantly thinking about school stuff and ways to improve for next year. I won't really stop doing those things until partway through July. Then I can have a real vacation, because halfway through August I need to start up again to get ready for the fall.

Am I the only one picturing James in his living room screaming out "VACATION MODE TRANSFORM!!!" and then suddenly beach chairs explode out from his floorboards and the floor turns into sand and the walls just magically disappear and suddenly he's on a beach in a bathing suit with a Carona in one hand as he lazily strolls over to the the nearest chair and sits down and gazes into the now-setting sun.
